Dr. Molly Hutto is the founder and clinical director of Annapolis Family Acupuncture, a premier holistic healthcare center specializing in allergy relief, autoimmune support, and holistic medicine. With well over a decade of experience, Dr. Hutto combines the wisdom of Eastern medicine with cutting-edge modern holistic medicine to provide personalized, results-driven care.
Her expertise in treating chronic conditions, digestive disorders, and immune dysfunction has made her a trusted provider in the Annapolis community. She is passionate about helping patients achieve long-term wellness by addressing the root causes of illness rather than just managing symptoms.
Dr. Hutto has been a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine under the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) since 2013, exceeding Maryland’s licensure qualifications. She earned her Doctorate of Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, with a specialized focus on oncology related symptom management, mental health, and pediatrics. She also holds a Master’s in Oriental Medicine from the renowned Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, where she completed over 4,000 hours of acupuncture and herbal training.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hutto has trained extensively in various acupuncture styles, primarily Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her continuing education has been dedicated to complimentary oncology care, pediatrics, mental health, palliative care, and immunity; she has over a decade of experience treating these complex conditions. She is certified in the Soliman Auricular Acupuncture Technique (SAAT), a groundbreaking method for permanently eliminating allergies, and has advanced training in Auricular Medicine, a holistic approach that integrates acupuncture, auriculotherapy, and homeopathy to support immune system health.
Known for her compassionate and patient-centered approach, Dr. Hutto views treatment through the lens of constitutional medicine—addressing both immediate symptoms and long-term wellness. She believes in fortifying both the physical and emotional well-being of her patients, a philosophy reflected in the many heartfelt testimonials from those she has helped.
Dr. Hutto is also a published author, contributing multiple articles to Acupuncture Today on topics such as dry needling, pediatric acupuncture, ADHD, weight loss, and medical ethics. She has also written for The Elephant Journal, covering broader wellness and lifestyle topics.
She maintains an active Maryland acupuncture license, holds Clean Needle Technique certification from the CCAOM, and strictly uses disposable sterile needle
Before dedicating her career to Chinese medicine, Dr. Hutto taught high school Spanish in Howard County and is a fluent Spanish speaker, having lived in Chile for an extended period. She currently resides in Annapolis with her son, their two cats, and two dogs. Outside of her practice, she enjoys yoga, healthy cooking, the outdoors, and an active lifestyle.
